ME8508 is a series of switching power supply ICs that are cost-effective for designing AC/DC converters. Low consumption, internal thermal protection circuit, voltage range of 85v to 265v are the features of this IC. The maximum supply voltage of this IC is 16 volts (up to 9 volts is recommended) and its maximum operating frequency is 65 KHz (at 9 volts). This IC is used in adapters, AC/DC converters and DVB.
